Oh dear. I do hate to be the first review for this Red Lobster because I have not had the best experiences. In my most recent experience, my waitress seemed nice enough, but would pass my table numerous times without so much as a glance in my direction, forgot my side item, took forever with bringing the check and offered to refill my drink AFTER I had finished all my food. The worst experience happened in March 2010. My mom and I were there, and our waiter- was totally spaced or having an off day. We order lobster-stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer (her fave!) and they take so long to come out, we had gone through two baskets of biscuits. The food came out quick enough, but her side item was missing. He goes to get it and we realize we do not have any silverware, just napkins and the dirty spoons from the lobster-stuffed mushrooms. Meanwhile, on his way to get the missing side item, our waiter had stopped at the table behind my mother. He was kneeling on the ground and was having a very involved conversation about his life goals and what he would like to do after being a Red Lobster waiter. We tried to get his attention, but to no avail. I was so hungry I just got up, walked over his legs and stole the silverware off the table behind the chatty couple. I walk BACK across his legs and give my mother her silverware and we start eating. The waiter gets up from that table and leaves (we assume to get the missing food and hopefully some drink refills). Then- a man appears at our table. He is dressed in khaki pants and a linen shirt and he asks us how our meal is going. He doesn't have a name tag and did not ask the table in front of us about their meal, so we say everything is fine and we wonder who he is........ He proceeds to tell us that he owns this particular Red Lobster and just after he noticed a waiter on his knees, chatting excessively to customers, he saw me step over him TWICE to retrieve my own eating utensils. Then he saw our waiter completely ignore us and walk away. I'm embarrassed for our waiter because his boss just caught his a$$ in the middle of some serious slacking. He says he'll take care of it........our waiter comes back (empty-handed) and apologizes for the missing silverware. My mother asks if the side item is held up in transit....the waiter is horrified! He FORGOT!! We told him not to worry about it, because we had been in there for TWO HOURS and we were ready to go. He adjusted our ticket for the inconveniences and blamed the missing side on the kitchen (yeah right). The only reason I go to this one is because Youree Drive has too much traffic :(

I'm under no delusion here that this is in any shape, way or form either fine dining or excellent, high quality seafood. I normally scoff at the thought of even going into a Red Lobster, then I thought one afternoon as I drove past this one, just why am I being so snobby? What is my problem and why this extreme prejudice? It had been maybe 17 years since I last set foot into a Red Lobster...What? Had I become too worldly, too wise for this restaurant? My palate too refined?... This is ridiculous! I went in and was seated immediately in the late afternoon. I ordered a lobster roll. I ate the whole thing, and you know what? (Let me tuck away my passport, here...) It wasn't bad!...Okay, there I said it and yes, I did it, and it wasn't bad!...As a matter of fact! It was pretty good! Decent, even!...And I'd eat it again!...As a matter of fact, I'd eat one right now! I want one right now! Get the lobster roll at Red Lobster, all you fancy schmancies! Take it from one of your own! They're actually kinda tasty! Don your disguise, sunglasses, wig, fake mustache, trench coat...and go to Red Lobster, and get your roll on!!!

Even for a chain restaurant this place is dreadful. RLs have gone downhill since the 80's and are now just a notch better than Long John Silvers (are those still around?). The fried shrimp at LJS was eat least breaded and fried fresh to order (I worked there for a 1.5 weeks, so I know). Here seems that they just fry a previously breaded and frozen shrimp. The crab legs look awful and not even on par with those served @ all you can eat buffets. Over the years I basically end up ordering the same item(Ultimate Feast), as their specials seldom entice me. The service here was excellent, but the food was awful. Scampi was barely visible in a pool of butter Crab legs gray Lobster tail was tiny and dry Fried shrimp was dry and lacked flavor The only item that was good on the plate: mashed potatoes, which is just plain sad.

Had a coupon for free dessert with purchase of an entrée. It was a pretty good experience.

I have never been to a Red Lobster before but my husband had, so we took a chance and went in.. Anyway, our family of 4 were seated right away and our waiter came took our drink order right after sitting down. After a few minutes, he takes our order.. (Rainbow trout, lobster and salmon with half dozen oysters) After about 40 minutes, our food gets here, he places down a dozen oysters, we get their attention about the wrong size, but they can not take the food back, (surprise, surprise we get charged for a whole dozen, even though I said half) Both fish and lobster tasted bland, and shrimp that came with my husband's food was tough. Honestly, the most flavorful item on both our plates was the broccoli. After we had finished what we can put down we asked for the check, waited another 20 minutes, our waiter comes back and ask if we wanted dessert. We kindly say "no, but we did ask for the check a while ago" he then hands us our check, we pay, then left. I was really disappointed in this experience, me and my husband love seafood, but between the unflavorful food, dirty bathrooms, and slow service.. I can't imagine ever going back.

Decent, never had a problem with the wait staff, last time I went was during Lobsterfest, the taste made me believe that 'Lobsterfest' was another way of saying, 'we gotta sell this before it goes all the way bad'.

Our waitress was good. Available close always for us to call for her. The appetizer sweet chili shrimp was spicy and excellent. The fried shrimp with mashed potatoes was excellent. The shrimp salad was very good. The lobster bisque was okay. The salmon New Orleans was good, with that fish I prefer white rice over wild rice. The garden salads were excellent. The hot fresh cheddar bay buscuit said were addictive.

Short wait to be seated. Took 10 minutes for a waitress to take our drink order and we went ahead and orders our meals. Table of 6 no drinks from the bar. 35 minutes later no drinks no biscuits no sign of our waitress. Got up and left. Poor service probably why this place was not full on a Saturday night. Will not be back. Only thing that went well was a polite friendly hostess.
